Mr. Campbell is currently providing airline coordination on design and technical issues on the new Maynard H. Jackson International Terminal at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. In addition, he is providing planning and technical support services to Comair Airlines and its corporate real estate department.Mr. Campbell recently completed an assignment for Delta Air Lines to right-size its airport facilities throughout the United States. These responsibilities included; airport lease negotiations; space programming and design; space reallocations and relocations; and construction oversight.
Prior to joining AvAirPros, Mr. Campbell served as Senior Facilities Planner for Comair Airlines. In this role, he had overall corporate responsibility for the airline’s Facilities Department. He managed the development, coordination and execution of multiple and simultaneous terminal, hangar, and airline facility projects at over fifty airports. Additionally, he participated in numerous airline/airport technical and planning committees at airports across the country.
Mr. Campbell’s responsibilities included the planning, design and implementation of all facility-related projects at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), Delta Air Lines’ second largest hub and Comair’s largest hub. Mr. Campbell was an integral player in the development and opening of the fifty-three gate Concourse “C”; the nation’s first dedicated regional aircraft facility. He participated in the master planning effort at the airport and was a key participant in concessions development, Concourse C expansions and various terminal improvement projects. New de-icing systems and maintenance facilities were also completed during Mr. Campbell’s tenure with Comair.
Mr. Campbell has over sixteen years of airline industry experience managing both large and small airport planning, design, and construction projects.
