Experience Mr. Liu is currently engaged in the $45 million Concourse E Hammerhead expansion project for Southwest Airlines at Philadelphia International Airport. His program management responsibilities include project budget, schedule and scope adherence. Mr. Liu is also actively involved in airline master planning assignments at various airports. These planning efforts include demand forecasting and facility planning activities. Mr. Liu represented the Indianapolis Airport Signatory Airlines on the $1.1 billion Midfield Terminal Development Program for the Indianapolis Airport Authority with responsibility for overseeing and coordinating all technical and design issues during the construction document phase. A key member of the $191 million Terminal A/B Expansion program for Southwest Airlines at the Baltimore/Washington International Airport, Mr. Liu was actively involved in the design and construction of the base building and the tenant improvement build-out projects. This successful program was completed in 2006. Mr. Liu has extensive planning experience in the development of complex, multi-phased airport projects. Mr. Liu continues to actively participate in planning and design efforts at various airports. His aviation technical experience includes: airline programming/planning; airline liaison; airport master planning; baggage handling systems; phasing & implementation strategies; and terminal security. Mr. Liu has over sixteen years of architectural design and planning experience, eleven of which have focused on aviation-related projects. Prior to joining AvAirPros, Mr. Liu worked for major national airport design firms and planning consultancies with a focus on airport terminal design, terminal planning and airport master planning.
