Experience Mr. Bradel joined the AvAirPros Services team in 2006 and currently oversees all financial and accounting services for Skyline Management Group (SMG), a joint venture providing professional property management services at Midway International Airport on behalf of the City of Chicago. His responsibilities include the processing of all accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Mr. Bradel is a financial professional with over fourteen years of financial management experience in aviation as well as both private and public sectors. His experience includes cash flow management, financial statement preparation, budget preparation and auditing. As finance manager for SMG, he prepares and manages an annual budget of $9 million per year. Mr. Bradel also performs, on behalf of SMG, financial analyses and generates financial reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
He conducts reconciliations of all accounts and prepares an audit on an annual basis. Under his guidance, a 10% reduction in the forecasted operating budget was achieved during its first year.
Prior to joining SMG, Mr. Bradel worked two years as finance manager for MATCO (Midway Airlines’ Terminal Consortium) in much of the same capacity as that detailed above. The airline and consortium experience earned during these two years was instrumental in transitioning to the SMG and assisted in the start-up of the organization.
Mr. Bradel achieved his public industry experience while working for the Chicago Park District as finance manager for over 10 years. He was responsible for preparing and maintaining an annual budget of $26 million per year. He also processed the payroll for 500 year-round and 600 seasonal employees. He maintained accounts of all revenues and expenditures for 66-staffed parks. Mr. Bradel supervised two finance coordinators who performed financial clerical duties.
Mr. Bradel is currently pursuing an MBA from Saint Xavier University.
