Experience Ms. Eichelberg recently joined AvAirPros after twelve years at Portland International Airport. She provides clients with the requisite leadership and airport experience required for large, complex airport projects and programs. Working as a Manager at a major airport, Ms. Eichelberg brings to AvAirPros a unique perspective and understanding of the inherent challenges of implementing capital programs in the airport environment. Ms. Eichelberg’s expertise in project development and program management covers a broad range of airport issues. These include projects to renovate and maintain terminal, roadway, and airfield facilities. Her experience includes working with the diverse airport community which includes airport operators and tenants, governmental/regulatory agencies, consultants, contractors and the general public. Currently part of the Hawaii Airline Liaison Office in Honolulu, Hawaii, Ms. Eichelberg will be coordinating airline and contractor involvement with the Honolulu International Airport Terminal Modernization Program; ensuring the airlines’ and State of Hawaii’s interests are represented in this very critical program. With her extensive airport operator experience, she will be instrumental in providing additional services that can improve efficiencies at all the airports owned by the State of Hawaii. Prior to joining AvAirPros, Ms. Eichelberg was responsible for managing a staff of project managers that provided project management services for a wide variety of airport improvement projects and programs. In addition, she was the Project Manager for PDX’s In-Line Baggage Screening Improvement project characterized as one of the most complex projects ever undertaken at the airport. Ms. Eichelberg was instrumental at developing an asset management system for aviation facilities, setting up a comprehensive system for delivering projects and responsible for capital improvement planning that included timing, sequencing and triggering projects. Before her project and program management responsibilities, Ms. Eichelberg developed and provided oversight for numerous environmental compliance programs. Prior to working for the Port of Portland, Ms. Eichelberg provided air quality engineering support for a leading engineering, planning and environmental consulting firm.
