Experience

Mr. Crosby joined the staff of AvAirPros Services, Inc. in 2000. Since joining AvAirPros Services, he has served as Executive Director for the Midway Airlines’ Terminal Consortium (MATCO). In this role, he is responsible for the maintenance and operations of all consolidated airline systems. He recruited a strong team of experienced professionals to commission all airline equipment, and implement business systems, including operating budget controls and executive management reporting.

Mr. Crosby is a management specialist with extensive experience in all operational and financial aspects of aviation management. His aviation-related experience has been achieved in several key areas. He is responsible for the management of all consolidated airline equipment and systems at Chicago Midway Airport on behalf of the Midway Airlines’ Terminal Consortium (MATCO). He has been instrumental in rate setting, auditing, budgeting, financial analysis, and all financial controls for both airport authorities and airlines. Further, Mr. Crosby has been responsible for airport use agreement negotiation, the design and implementation of rates and charges methodologies, as well as the capital programs required to support these agreements.

Prior to joining AvAirPros Services, Mr. Crosby was Assistant Commissioner with the City of Chicago at Midway Airport and played a key role in the development and implementation of the $900 million Midway Airport Terminal Development Program, in addition to his management of the day-to-day financial operations of the Airport.

In addition to his financial responsibilities, Mr. Crosby managed the ongoing development of the Midway Noise Compatibility Commission, an intergovernmental body comprising community representatives and south suburban mayors. Mr. Crosby also managed the Noise Abatement Program for the airport, including the $74 million Residential and School Sound Insulation Programs.

Previously, as Midway Airport’s Director of Finance and Administration, Mr. Crosby created and administered a $60 million annual operating budget.

Prior to transferring to Midway Airport in 1998, Mr. Crosby was Assistant Manager of Finance at O’Hare International Airport and was responsible for invoicing and collecting $600 million in annual revenues for the Chicago Airport System.
Mr. Crosby joined the Chicago Department of Aviation in 1993 as a Financial Analyst and developed annual revenue and operational forecasts. He analyzed various Airlines and Concessionaires invoice accounts enabling more efficient collection efforts. He coordinated the City’s efforts in utilizing self-invoicing payment procedures with the opening of International Terminal 5.
