Experience

Mr. Crosby serves as Staff Vice President for AvAirPros Services, and is responsible for developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relations, staff recruitment and professional development. Current AvAirPros Services operations include airline consortiums at JFK – Terminal 1, San Francisco - International Terminal, Chicago Midway Airport, and Detroit Metro - North Terminal. He is also a joint venture principal for Skyline Management Group which maintains the 1 million square foot terminal facility, including management of all engineering, electrical and custodial functions for the City of Chicago at Chicago Midway Airport.

Previously, Mr. Crosby served as Executive Director for the Midway Airlines Terminal Consortium (MATCO). In this role he was responsible for the maintenance and operations of all consolidated airline systems, including inline EDS baggage handling, passenger loading bridges, fuel storage and hydrant distribution, pre-conditioned air, ground power, federal inspection facilities, wheelchair and passenger assistance services. Mr. Crosby administered a $10 million annual budget, including all accounting, auditing, and legal matters on the behalf of the MATCO Board of Directors.

As the consortium’s initial Executive Director, Mr. Crosby formed the MATCO management team to commission, operate and maintain all the airline systems installed through the Midway Airport Terminal Development Program, and implemented the appropriate business systems necessary to support the operation including budgetary controls and executive management reporting.

Mr. Crosby is a management specialist with extensive experience in all operational and financial aspects of aviation. His vast experience has been achieved in several key areas including airline consortiums, property management services, rate and charges, budgeting, financial analysis, and all financial controls for airlines as well as airport authorities. Further, Mr. Crosby has been responsible for airport use and lease agreement negotiation, the design and implementation of rates and charges models and the capital programs required to support these agreements.

Prior to joining AvAirPros Services, Mr. Crosby was Assistant Commissioner with the Chicago Airport System and played a key role in the planning and implementation of the $900 million Midway Airport Terminal Development Program. His responsibilities included the negotiation of and financial modeling for the Airport’s Use and Lease Agreement, budget development, securing capital funding, day-to-day management of Airport financial operations including accounts payables and receivables, setting rates and charges, generating financial statements and audit reports. Mr. Crosby also served as Assistant Manager of Finance at O’Hare International Airport and was responsible for invoicing and collecting $600 million in annual revenues for O’Hare and Midway Airports.
