Jake Johnson is a business management specialist with responsibilities entailing strategic and financial planning, cost control, auditing, financial analysis and reporting.

Mr. Johnson currently serves as a Project Accountant for the Dallas Love Field Master Plan (LFMP) Development Program working directly with Southwest Airlines and coordinating with the City of Dallas Department of Aviation. Mr. Johnson assisted in the development and currently manages the Cost Control Program database for the $519 million terminal area development program. His responsibilities include the development of financial management reports; interpreting and validating financial data; direct oversight of daily data entry concerning invoices, contracts, change orders and proper accounting of program costs and project funding allocations. Mr. Johnson is also responsible for auditing contractor invoices to ensure invoiced amounts are within contract scope, schedule, and budget with regards to the LFMP program guidelines.

Mr. Johnson is responsible for the monthly administration of the Member Airline and non-Member invoicing for the Shared Use Lounge at the LAX Tom Bradley International Terminal. In this role, he reviews and approves vendor invoices to ensure contract compliance and calculates fees and charges. Mr. Johnson also compiles and analyzes passenger use volumes to determine peak period usage for the lounge and available slots for new entrants.

Mr. Johnson also monitors the $6.7 billion capital program budgets at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. His efforts include review and compilation of data for the hundreds of projects and multiple funding sources included in the program.

A participant on the Southwest Airlines’ Gate Enhancement Project, Mr. Johnson was responsible for auditing contractor invoices to ensure invoiced amounts were within contract scope, schedule, and budget prior to payment processing.

At Baltimore-Washington International Airport, Mr. Johnson assisted in a sample audit and report on behalf of the airlines. The sample audit focused on rates and charges modeling elements, and was conducted to verify the accuracy of data compiled by the Airport and their consultants.
