Experience

Mrs. Maldonado joined the team of AvAirPros Services in 2006. She is responsible for all administrative and clerical duties for the Midway Airlines’ Terminal Consortium (MATCO) offices at Chicago Midway International Airport. Mrs. Maldonado supports the Executive Director as well as a staff of eight management professionals and coordinates all matters with the APS corporate office. Mrs. Maldonado is responsible for maintaining the Badging Program for the MATCO organization including access code assignments, training, authorizing and auditing, as well as approving access codes for Federal Inspections Services clearance.

Mrs. Maldonado brings with her several years of experience in the aviation industry. Her airline experience includes Vanguard Airlines, ProAir Airlines, Frontier Airlines, and Professional Business Providers. During her time with the airlines Ms. Maldonado worked as a Ticket Agent where she was responsible for boarding and deplaning flights, issuing tickets, making reservations, rescheduling passengers during cancelled flights, assisting special needs passengers and resolving customer complaints. Ms. Maldonado also served as the Gate Service Coordinator and Lead Agent for ProAir Airlines.

Prior to joining AvAirPros, Mrs. Maldonado worked as a Senior Dispatcher for Professional Business Providers at Chicago Midway Airport where she was responsible for assisting in the oversight of all MATCO equipment including, Passenger Loading Bridges, the Baggage Handling System, and the Ground Power and Pre-Condition Air Systems. This oversight included the preventive maintenance program, maintaining the CMMS, training new employees, monitoring personnel, auditing time records, gate management and billing. Mrs. Maldonado also supported the Consortium Management staff, generated baggage handling reports, dispatched maintenance, custodial and wheelchair services, and provided oversight for the Ticket Verification Agents. Mrs. Maldonado frequently filled the role of customer service representative and airline liaison, serving as an intermediary for the Airport’s Department of Aviation.

She is currently attending Northeastern University.
