Experience

Mr. Demkovich leads the AvAirPros Services Terminal Management practice area which includes airline consortium development and airport terminal management operations throughout North America.

Mr. Demkovich is a management specialist with extensive experience in the financial and business aspects of aviation projects and airline consortiums His expertise includes budgeting, financial analysis, funding control, financial reporting and airline consortium development. He has also been responsible for airport use agreement negotiations and the design and implementation of rates and charges methodologies supporting these agreements.

Mr. Demkovich assisted ten foreign flag airlines at LAX by organizing the LAX Shared Use Lounge Company, securing project funding and supervising development of the Shared Use Lounge at the LAX Tom Bradley International Terminal, including all aspects of financial control and reporting.

Mr. Demkovich was a key participant in negotiations and development of the Detroit Airlines North Terminal Consortium at Detroit Metro Airport and was responsible for the preparation of the agreement between the airlines and the Wayne County Airport Authority and the member agreement for the airline consortium.

Mr. Demkovich provided financial support services to Southwest Airlines for the $274 million Terminal A/B Expansion Project at Baltimore Washington International Airport and was responsible for securing more than $23 million reimbursement from the project for Southwest.

Mr. Demkovich provides financial and business support consulting services to four partner airlines at Terminal One at JFK International Airport, and coordinated the December 2006 refinancing of $388 million of Special Facility Revenue Bonds, which included the issuance of new funding for A-380 facility modifications. He was also called upon to lead a significant revenue forecasting, cost reduction and rate calculation effort, as a result of the events of 9/11.

As Executive Director at JFK Terminal One for Terminal One Group Association, L.P., Mr. Demkovich was responsible for the daily operations of the facilities, including the management of $180 million of annual contracts. In this role, he reorganized the management team and implemented business management control and reporting systems. Under his guidance, a 9% reduction in the terminal’s operating budget was achieved.

Mr. Demkovich was a key participant in the development and implementation of the San Francisco Terminal Equipment Company. In this role he was responsible for securing capital funding from the Airport and for designing and implementing consortium business systems.

Mr. Demkovich was a key participant in the Terminal One Project at JFK, where he was responsible for the financial and business management aspects of the Project, including budgeting, funding controls, rates and charges, consultant management, auditor management, banking, investments, business systems and interface with the bond trustee.

Prior to joining AvAirPros, Mr. Demkovich served as the Control Systems Manager for the $4 billion O-Hare Development Program and was directly responsible for program control systems and capital cost allocations.
