Ron Bergen recently joined AvAirPros in its finance practice area which includes lease negotiations, capital program evaluation, and plan of finance analysis.Mr. Bergen’s current work includes finance assignments related to the State of Hawaii Airports System annual rates and charges review, and the Master Plan at Honolulu International Airport. This involves revising and updating plan of finance models and developing a new model for the upcoming capital programs.
Additionally, Mr. Bergen is a member of the New York Airline Liaison Office and is participating in the lease negotiations at LaGuardia International Airport as well as various projects at John F Kennedy International Airport.
Prior to joining AvAirPros, Mr. Bergen was an analyst at Landrum and Brown, working extensively on evaluating and modeling the proposed World Gateway Program at Chicago O’Hare International Airport. This comprised of passenger forecasting, rates and charges analysis, and debt service bond sizing. Other plan of finance and rates and charges analysis included the airports in the Alaska Airport System, Chicago Midway Airport and Toronto International Airport. He also led the forecasting efforts in planning for the consolidated rental car facilities at Phoenix Sky Harbor, San Jose and Cleveland International Airports.
Outside of the aviation industry, Mr. Bergen has experience in the banking, law, and telecom industries developing profitability models, creating product forecasts, overseeing corporate finance activities, evaluating mergers and acquisitions, and managing various project related endeavors.
