Experience Stephen Bridges joined AvAirPros after a successful career in commercial banking as well as a return to graduate school. Mr. Bridges currently serves as the senior accountant on the $519 million Love Field Modernization Program. Current responsibilities include program controls in relation to the audit of business practices, invoicing and contract compliance.
Mr. Bridges has three years in a consulting role as an outside auditor for commercial banks. During this time, he ensured that commercial lending institutions were engaging in prudent lending activities. These prudent lending activities included safety and soundness reviews similar to federal regulator reviews.
Additionally, Mr. Bridges has six years of experience analyzing public finance projects for bank qualified issuances of debt. While the preponderance of his public finance experience is with privately placed issuances he also has a significant amount of experience in the public issuance segment. Duties included acting as the trustee representative in the disbursement of funds as well as continued compliance with various bond covenants.
In addition to consulting with and on behalf of banking institutions, Mr. Bridges served as the President of a locally owned commercial banking office. He was responsible for a full range of managerial and lending activities.
His most recent professional experience, prior to his full-time enrollment in graduate school, was acting as controller for a start-up commercial contracting business. Mr. Bridges was responsible for all corporate bookkeeping as well as support of employment, facility, and logistical issues.
