Experience Mr. Jennings joined the staff of AvAir Pros Services in 2005. He brings with him over 25 years of project management, construction management, and maintenance experience in both public and private sectors Mr. Jennings is currently responsible for maintenance, operations, and general day-to-day interactions of the passenger loading bridges, aircraft gate striping, potable water equipment, ground power equipment, trituator equipment, flight information display equipment, electric tug charging equipment, pre-conditioned air equipment, baggage handling equipment, passenger wheelchair service, ticket verification service, city gate management, and other miscellaneous equipment at Midway International Airport in Chicago. In addition to the equipment responsibilities, he also oversees a contracted maintenance staff of 17 mechanics, 5 dispatchers, and 27 TVA’s. Mr. Jennings works daily with City Officials, Airlines, vendors, contractors, and unions. Prior to joining AvAirPros, Mr. Jennings worked as a sub-contracted maintenance technician at Midway Airport, where he earned hands-on knowledge of the above-mentioned systems. While working as a maintenance technician, he was heavily relied on to provide unique solutions to a wide array of airline and equipment issues. Mr. Jennings also served as a project manager for some of the largest residential builders in the Chicagoland area. In this position, he was responsible for land development and residential construction at sub-divisions usually with 125 to 200 units each. He also served as a Technical Security Supervisor at the Art Institute of Chicago. Mr. Jennings was responsible for the installation and maintenance of fire and security systems. While in this position, he served as a consultant on alarm and security devices with numerous museums throughout the country. Mr. Jennings holds certification as a journeyman carpenter, locksmith, and was a part-time police officer for the Village of South Barrington for eighteen years.
