Alitalia Airlines relocation to Terminal One demanded an expedited relocation program for their operation from Terminal Four. To assist Alitalia in this critical program AvAirPros was retained due to the extensive knowledge of Terminal One and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. AvAirPros defined Alitalia program needs, developed conceptual and schematic documents and rendered project management services for the construction phase of the program.

AvAirPros was responsible to complete simultaneously seven separate areas and to interface between Terminal One Management, Alitalia and their contractor and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. AvAirPros filed for and obtained necessary construction permits and coordinated the efforts with Alitalia?s corporate architect and designer from Italy.

In conjunction with Terminal One Management AvAirPros identified expansion space at Terminal One for a new lounge for Alitalia and has led the effort to create the new facility for build out by Alitalia.
